The Coöperatieve Vereniging Nederlandse Assurantie Beurs B.A. (VNAB) [Netherlands Insurance Exchange Association] is the Dutch sector organisation for the corporate insurance market. Our members provide insurance solutions combined with risk management consultancy for extensive and complex risks. The VNAB represents the sector’s interests by facilitating the market by means of an efficient electronic insurance exchange system (e-ABS), by promoting the development and transfer of knowledge, by addressing social and commercial themes that are of relevance to the sector, and by pursuing an active policy on the sector’s reputation.

With the trade platform e-ABS the VNAB enables its members to serve their customers in the best possible way. It facilitates extensive transactions between insurers and brokers in the corporate insurance market. The VNAB keeps investing in e-ABS to have a state-of-the-art trade platform in place for its users.
In addition, the Sanctionpl@tform is the only platform that facilitates the full performance of the Customer Due Diligence and the Transaction Due Diligence reviews under the Sanction regulations. The platform also supports the automated search processes and checks, both through screens and web service links, of the Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) and organisations against the applicable sanction lists.
The VNAB further considers it its responsibility to address market-related themes and developments and communicate a relevant vision. The VNAB acts as opinion-maker and is quick to respond to changes in the market. The role of market supervisor also includes making sure that agreed rules of conduct and other rules of the game are regularly updated and complied with. The former DNB branch office at Boompjes in Rotterdam now houses the VNAB knowledge and meeting centre. The centre of the corporate insurance market where professionals meet each other, work together and share their knowledge in an ambience that reflects the spirit of the new times. All facilities provided by the centre are available to VNAB members and associate participants, such as various conference rooms, a flexible event floor complete with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, parking space, top quality coffee, and a wide range of lunch and catering services.
